Two quarians, one freezer
Jun. 9th, 2012 01:26 am[It's dark as the feed starts up as he knocks into the phone. He shifts, his hands touching the top of the freezer, before he extends his hands up over his head to touch the door. He breaths out, before he stretches out his legs to give him some leverage to push the door open. He tries again, putting his weight into his feet before he gasps out, and lays back down on the cold surface.]
Hello? Can anyone hear me? [He ends up calling out, close enough to the phone to be heard without problems. He findst the device when he moves his hand along the the bottom of the freezer hoping for a lever or safety switch, and holds it up, though there’s only the light from the end of his helmet that glows when he’s talking.] Keelah, what is this?
[It's a few seconds, but there's a sharp, close sound of someone fumbling with the latch on the freezer door before it swings open, sending light crashing in on the phone. The freezer tray is rolled out into the stark light of the morgue, and the voice of the person dragging it is possibly familiar, albeit clearly in some pain.] Could you be any louder, for-- Zaal'Koris?
Tali’Zorah. [He stares up at her for a moment, then pushes himself up so he’s at least sitting on the tray so he's at least some what visible in the phone's camera.] Thank you for your assistance. [He glances down at his feet, before he reaches for the tag and pulls it off.] Are you all right?
I've been better. [And Tali holding a hand to the side of her head isn't visible, but the wince in her voice is loud and clear. Then the phone's moving, and Tali's mask comes into view for a couple of seconds as she holds it up, before...] It's broadcasting - of course it is. [And she cuts it.]
